A Man from Mars

A man from Mars who shouted love to keep,

Assumed she felt the same love back for him.

When he did see such lovely eyes peep

His tongue flopped dumb like ugly Farmer Tim.

But she denied a man who loved himself.

And he did spray a curse so dumb and poor,

He stayed on Mars alone with ears fixed like Elf.

To think he shook God’s own divine writ lore,

And she did take the better deal

To sit with a better man and better meal.
